Menu Foods distributes food under a variety of brand names.  Use this site for brand names, lot numbers and other recall information.  A toll-free number is also provided for further assistance.

Update from John Lloyd (Business/Sciences):
“A CNN article has just stated that the drug Aminopterin was found in the recalled pet food: http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/03/23/pet.food.recall.ap/index.html Aminopterin is found in rat poison (overseas only) and is registered as a cancer drug here in the united states.”

  1. Elizabeth Forbes Says:

I NEED LOT NUMBERS FOR IAMS CAT FOOD.

  2. IAMS had an update on their website at:

    http://us.iams.com/iams/global/Product_Recall.htm

They do list an 800 number: 1-800-882-1591
where you might find some help

The Chicago Tribune online had this info:
Menu Foods has a consumer hot line at 1-866-463-6738 and 1-866-895-2708. The FDA is asking those with sick or dead pets to call FDA state complaint coordinators. A list of contacts for such coordinators is available at http://www.fda.gov/opacom/backgrounders/complain.html

Perhaps the Menu Foods Hotline numbers could be of help.
