The Census Bureau has released its first comprehensive atlas of population and housing since the 1920s.  With over 300 pages and more than 800 maps, this is a remarkable resource that covers numerous time periods and subject areas.

How much does it cost, you ask?  Well, if you want to purchase a copy for yourself, it will only set you back $165.  Or, better yet, you can view the full-color .pdf version at the link above.
