RTKNet : The Right-To-Know Network


The Right-to-Know Network provides free access to a number of environmental databases and resources.  It allows citizens to find sources of pollution in their communities, as well as much, much more.

    Wow. I haven’t thought about Right-to-know since I worked as a temp for AirChem in the 80s….

    The AirChem offices were in the front of one of their warehouses, and the “deodorizing” scents there were so powerful [sort of a minty Pine Sol mix] that I hung my jacket outside to air out each night. One evening, a skunk got startled in our yard, and the jacket took a direct hit — with hardly a lingering whiff of angry mustelid by the next day.
